WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS

Happy Holidays my Dears!

To start off this post, I would like to wish you all Merry Christmas and even though it has already passed I still hope you guys had a wonderful time with your family and loved ones!

Seeing as though I have never done a 'What I got for Christmas' post, I really wanted to do one this year and to share my gifts with you all beautiful faces.
DISCLAIMER : A lot of people might think that these kind of posts are for bragging about amazing gifts, but it's truly all with good intentions just for sharing the new things that might end up in 'Favourites' posts.

My mom truly knows how much I adore 'AVON' skin&body products so she got me and entire Maroccan Oil range that includes the Bath&Shower oil, the restoring hand cream and body moisturiser. I believe it was one of their holiday gift sets so the white makeup bag ( that I really needed ) was a part of it. I can already tell that it will be my new favourite body products because of the relaxing and rich scent.

My aunt knew that I was about to travel here and there, so she got me this gorgeous makeup bag from L'Occitane together with mini versions of the shea face cleansing oil and the almond shower oil. I already tried the shower oil and I'm a big fan of it. Something tells me that I will like the cleansing oil as much, but we'll see how that goes.
My friend, who knows how much I like hand creams, got me the famous Wild Argan oil hand cream from The Body Shop.
My beloved cousin, got me probably my favourite shower product of all time. It's the Fortune Scrub with sweet orange and cedar from Rituals. If you haven't tried this out, you are seriously missing out. I absolutely recommend this product for everyone and even if you're not a fan of body scrubs, you will be after you try this!

My best friend who knew how much I wanted a new cozy blanket got me this one that is incredibly soft and huge. With the blanket, she also gifted me this Toffee Apple hand cream from Douglas. Since cinnamon or toffee apple scents are one of my favourites, it's no surprise that I love it so much.
If we are on the topic of hand creams, I got another one from a brand I have never heard of before. It's the Marvelous Berries scent from Yves Rocher. After some research, I found out that it's a french brand. And that leaves me with four hand creams this Christmas that will fill my collection.
Every year I like to put a gift under the Christmas tree from me to me. This time I got myself this NYX highlighter in Ritualistic and a few lovely scented candles that will add some aesthetics to my room details.

Since I really wanted to buy a new fashion book but I couldn't decide which onem my dad gifted me a check from a bookstore. Once I get the book that caughts my eye, I will let you know via Instagram probably.
My Dear grandmother knows that I like this specific tea brand called 'BASILUR' so she got me these two flavours. The White Moon milk oolong green tea and  the Frosty Night ceylon black tea.
As a souvenir from Scotland, my aunt gave me these Scottish biscuits and these will go perfectly with the tea!

Since this is the last post of 2017, I would like to wish you all a Happy and Exciting New Year!
2017 for my blog was a truly amazing year and I can only promise you that 2018 will be ever more fabulous.

See you next year my Dears,

All the Love in the world!

FAVOURITES

Hello my Loves!
It's been a while since I've shared my favourite things with all of you. For these past few months I got my hands on so many new fashion, beauty and skincare related items that it was a bit of a challenge to narrow it all down to just a few. And there they are!

I've been eyeing the stores for the new NYX Total Control drop foundation and when I finally spotted it in the NYX store in Barcelona, I new I had to pick the right shade and add it to my makeup collection. Every single review I heard or saw about this product was amazing and I can only confirm it myself. The foundation glides on beautifully and if the coverage seems too sheer at first, you can always build it up without it looking rough on uneven.
I have to admit, THIS IS MY FAVOURITE BRONZER I HAVE EVER USED! If you haven't tried out this NYX Matte bronzer you are seriously missing out. The shade variety is amazing, so you can pick whether you want something with warmer or cooler undertone,  it's completely matte and gorgeous, no need to add that it's a drugstore item which means it is pretty affordable.
My favourite lip combo at the moment has to be the AVON Mark. matte liquid lipstick in the shade dare to be bare with the MAC lip pencil in Whirl. The lipstick is great, not sticky, smells nice and stays on for a long time which is exactly what I would say about the lip pencil.
I have been meaning to get a new toner and when I found one from Simple I did hot hesitate a minute before getting it. Hearing all these good reviews not only on this exact product but on every single one of them, I knew that this wouldn't disappoint me and it really didn't. It's very gentle with all natural ingredients that will not harm your skin, especially if you have sensitive one, so if you're on the hunt for a new toner, I would totally go for this.

I don't usually put a clothing piece among my favourites, but I fell deeply in love with this jumper that it seemed like a crime not to include it. As always, I was keeping my eye out for this jumper from ZARA and after a few trips to the store, I finally decided to go and get it. The orange and white details are incredibly soft which counts as a huge plus in order to keep me comfortable and warm. With colours and material like this, the jumper really is a statement piece, so you could just put on an all black outfit, throw this on and BOOM! you're looking fabulous.

All the Love in the world,

HIM&HER

Hello my dears!

Since the colder weather is here, it's time to pull out all our coats, thicker jackets, scarfs and gloves to keep ourselves warm yet still fashionable for this upcoming winter season. For this post I put my fashion taste into four outfit choices for him and her. So grab your partner and take a look at these outfits so you two could be the "Stylish Couple".

WINTER BROWNS

It's an outfit choice for someone who likes to be comfortable in their clothes to the maximum amount with no 'up in their face' kind of accessories.
For HER I chose a simple black wool coat paired with dark brown turtleneck and wide black pants. The pieces that will make the outfit a bit more interesting are the black ankle booties with a slight heel and the beret, that seems to be the hot accessory right now. To keep the hands warm, I picked brown leather gloves to finish up the look.
For HIM I went with brown coat to compliment the female. Together I added a black turtle neck, to keep the high neck style going on, and some skinny fit black trousers. For shoes I just chose the classic Timberland style black boots. Do add a manly charm, and to stick with the browns, I found this Nixon watch that tied the outfit together.

OUR TONES

Now these outfits are for people who like to stand out and wear other colours from the palette besides black.
For HER I chose a white wool coat and, yes, I know that it's not practical and that the coat will turn to grey in no time, but if you don't go out in the rain or if you put the coat on for more special occasions that you should be good. The black version would look just as great, but I felt that a bright colour would draw everyone's attention. Underneath, I picked the military green turtleneck that's a bit cropped. And to change up the lower body clothes, I went with a black leather skirt. With this outfit, the black ankle booties with a heel makes the outfit even more chic. For the accessories, I chose a backpack to turn down the fanciness a bit, but added it back with red velvet gloves and a rich perfume such as Jasmin Rouge by Tom Ford
For HIM I stepped back from coats and chose this warm military tone jacket to keep the green theme going on and underneath I picked the white knit jumper to initially go with the white female coat, but if you switch the white to black one, then I would probably to the same to the jumper. To make the outfit a big edgy I went for classic knee ripped black jeans and topped it all of with simple leather boots. To add some fun, I picked these red sunnies and black gloves for some warmth.

And if you're looking for some good quality male clothing pieces maybe for a present or a lovely gift, I recommend stopping by BONOBOS website. They have it all, from t-shirts to jackets and from loungewear to formal clothing.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH BARCELONA

Hello my Dears!

For the past week I've been travelling the world a bit and I fell in love with a piece of it.

Together with my family we decided to go on a trip to Barcelona, the city between mountains and sea. I get asked a lot, if I had to choose a city with rough relief or the one near the water and the answer to that question was always 'both'. The city of Barcelona is just that definition of 'both' that I had in mind.

Besides being perfect with it's surrounding nature, the capital is also full of unique background such as art, museums and interesting architecture buildings. With things like that, you never get bored in Barcelona, because there's always something to see, something to explore.

On the topic of exploring, let me tell you that I did just that. Of course I had to go and check out the famous la Sagrada Familia and the power of this sight blew me away. I felt to small yet so amazing when standing next to this masterpiece and I can easily say that I'm not the only one who feels this way about spectacular buildings.
Besides being blown away by the famous sight, I also visited various kinds of art museums : Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya , Picasso museum and  Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA). Being the person, who adores art, I really enjoyed taking a look on famous paintings, sculptures and other exhibitions. Sadly, I didn't have a chance to go inside the National Art Museum, but the outside of the building had me shook for the rest of the day. I was shook to that point where I started to get emotional, don't ask me why or how, I just did.

To be honest, I prefer cities where you can find remains of older cultures and decades that represent the art of what it's famous for. That's what I like about Barcelona, you can easily go out, have fun and dance all night long at the clubs, but there's also loads of places where you'll find yourself being taken away by art and vintage architecture.

The title of this post really translates on how I feel about the city of Barcelona, because I truly enjoyed every minute there. And if you're looking for a new destination to travel to, I would highly recommend adding the capital to your list of places to visit.

All the Love!

MY NAME IS AUTUMN

Hello my dear readers!

I couldn't be more happy that fall season is finally here! My transition from summer to autumn has been a bit slow since I can't wrap my head around the fact that those three warm months passed away super fast.
As you can tell from the title of this outfit I was totally in the autumn mood with red and grey colours. However, I can feel that this season I'll be all about the greens, the nudes and some warmer earth tones such as mustard or brown.

MY MI NOTE 2

Hello my Loves!

I recently had a chance to try out the XIAOMI Mi Note 2 smart phone and I really loved it.
Now let me tell you why : the camera is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, it captures everything and everywhere with a truly good quality. That's one of the main reasons why I adored this phone. Another reason would be the huge and bright screen, but then again, almost every good smart phone today has a vibrant screen. I also really loved the design of this smart guy; it's elegant and simple with the shiny black color, it's bended at the front so it gives off a more modern look.
Since, I am an iPhone user, it was a bit weird to use it, but after some time it felt comfortable in my hand and I managed to figure out how to use it. After all, it's bigger than my iPhone 6S. The Mi Note 2 is 5,7 inches and my current phone has 4,7 inch display.

If I had to choose between XIAOMI Mi Note 2 and iPhone I would still, sadly, choose and iPhone over it. It just feels more comfortable in every single way. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing phone and If you're on the hunt for a new not so expensive smart phone, I would truly recommend checking out the Mi Note 2.

/////

Sveiki mielieji!

RECENT FAVOURITES

Hello my dear readers!

Let me start off this introduction by saying that posts where bloggers share their favourite things of the month have been one of my favourite topics to read about, plus, the layout photos always look aesthetically pleasing. So here are things that I've been loving for a while now.

My skin has been loving these two face products the most. The Body Shop tea tree scrub helps my poor blemished skin to get rid of any dead skin that might have been left from the night. It exfoliates very gently and the minty scent helps me wake up in the morning.
There's no secret that a lot of skin types enjoy a good and refreshing sheet mask. Mine loves this moisturising one from ARTEMIS.

Now there's no way that I planned this, but a lot of my makeup faves are from NYX. What can I say? It's clearly my favourite brand at the moment.
The Studio Perfect Photo-Loving primer does a truly good job at making my skin silky smooth right before foundation. The primer's silky formula feels very soft, almost weird, when you need to apply it, but I do love myself a good soft primer.
I've been on the hunt for a nice orange eyeshadow for a few months, I finally found one from in NYX counter and it's their single matte eyeshadow in the color LOL (loooove the name btw!). It's a nice shade of orange, it blends well, it's not dusty and the pigment is really there. What else do you need in a good eyeshadow other than that?
The last product from NYX is the Matte Finish setting spray. I don't usually go for the all-matte makeup look, but for some reason, this finish spray mattifies just the right amount and it makes my makeup last longer so that's definitely a plus.
I have another makeup favourite and it's the ARCANCIL Mat Mysteria matte liquid lipstick in the shade 408 Nude Rosé. It's the perfect dark rosy nude color that glides smoothly on the lips with the right amount of pigment. It dries matte and does not move what so ever.

I wanted a nice spicy scent for the colder weather and I accidentally smelled a few of ZARA's perfumes and fell in love with these two instantly. The Black Amber is the spicy one that I've been on the hunt for and the Red Vanilla is a little bit sweet with a soft vanilla scent.

A book favourite of mine has been the "The Hotel on Place Vendôme" by Tilar J. Mazzeo. It's a book about hotel Ritz in Paris and the whole story revolves around that hotel and Paris itself during the Nazi occupation in 1940 while the world was shaking because of WWII. The book is rich with art, celebrities (such as Coco Chanel, Arletty, Ernest Hemingway and much more) and the love and betrayal stories of among famous personas. If you're a sucker for history and art then this book is definitely for you!

OFF THE SHOULDER BABE

Hello my Loves!

Off the shoulder blouse trend has been huge this summer and I, being the fashion lover that I am, decided to jump on this train among other fashionistas.
Ever since women started to rock these kind of tops, I've been on the hunt for the perfect off the shoulder top. I found one in H&M for surprisingly affordable price. The minute this blouse was added to my closet, it has been shown a lot of love since then. I often find myself pairing this piece with high waisted trousers or shorts among some sort of jacket just in case it gets a little chilly outside.

Have you been loving this trend recently?

WHAT IS IN MY BAG?

Hello my Loves!

So I was browsing the internet one day and I came across a video called "What's in my bag?". After watching that short yet interesting video I remembered how much I adored these little tags and posts on such topic.
It's no wonder that I had to take my camera and shake everything out of my backpack, place it in a somehow eligible layout and shoot some pictures!

There's no secret that a gal has to have a little makeup bag with her whenever she's out the door. I carry this comfortable and beautiful one that my aunt got from Turkey. Or was it Greece? Ehh, I can not remember.
On the top of my list among the makeup bag is, of course, my phone and a life saviour of mine - earphones.

These sunglasses are a new must have thing for me. The only thing that annoys me about any pair of them is the fact that it leaves marks and ruins my nose contour whenever I wear sunglasses. If someone has a great way on how to avoid that, please, fill me in. P.S. - the sunnies are from BERSHKA.

Just recently I started carrying a small notebook with me. I never though I would be the kind of person to actually use notebook, but yet, here I am with pieces of paper and a pen in my bag.

No need to talk about essentials such as a set of keys and a wallet. I bought that fluffy black thingy in a small store on an avenue in a resort, but any store has them in stock now.

ESSENTIALS

Hello there!

I've always fancied pictures in which bloggers share their most fabulous things that they can not live with out. These my-so-loved posts are called 'essentials''. It's just something aesthetic about photos of beautiful lipsticks or shining highlighters on a paper of a magazine that always caught my eye in a matter of second. On this post I've decided to share some of mine 'most fabulous things that I can not live with out'.

My most adored piece of all time has got to be this brown leather jacket from ZARA. Ever since the day that I bought it, I've been wearing it non stop. It's just so gorgeous and it makes every outfit that I put on look a billion times better. Not to mention that it looks vintage because of its unique texture and in favour to that, it looks expensive and extremely fancy from my point of view.
If you'd like to see on how I styled it, click HERE.

Some of my makeup essentials are also here. One of them is the REVOLUTION Vivid Baked Highlighter in a colour Golden Lights. By this time you have probably seen a lot of beauty gurus rave about these beautiful things. These products are not expensive at all, I believe it cost me about 5€ and they're unbelievably blinding on the face. No need to tell that you need these highlighters in you makeup collection ASAP!

Another makeup essential is the INGLOT blush in a shade 50. Now, I was never a huge blusher fan, but recently I started diving into something new, so I tried on an old blush that I had and I really liked it. On my next trip to the drugstore I picked up this gorgeous shade of coral pink and it became the thing that I can not live without.
Speaking of diving into something new, I recently became obsessed about this L'Oréal Color Riche Matte lipstick in a shade 634 Greige Perfecto. I was always using only lip pencils as a main lip color, but I persuaded myself into adding this little guy into my makeup collection and I do not regret a single cent.

THE PERFECT BREAKFAST

Good afternoon my loves!

It's no secret that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and,  no no, I did not come here today to lecture you about the food role for your stomach in the morning. I came here today to say on how breakfast is important for your self-esteem and your soul's well being.

Personally, I like to spend my mornings all by myself. The lazy me gets out of bed at mid day when I don't have no plans on my agenda, later on I go into the kitchen to make something delicious for my stomach. Since the breakfast is my time, I like to work on something some kind of healthy and sweet meal. That usually involves some yogurt with nuts, seeds and coconut shavings. The second important part for the start of the day is my lovely cup of coffee. Two tea spoons of coffee and two tea spoons of sugar, I like it balanced okay?

After I've done all the work in the kitchen, then it's time to curl up on my bed or sit comfortably in a big chair and enjoy the charming breakfast. In the background I put on my all time favourite tv show which is Sex and the City and if not, there will always be a fashion magazine beside me while I'm having the time of my day.

I feel like not only me, but other people in general enjoy breakfast more than let's say lunch or dinner. Yes, I enjoy dinner as well, but breakfast is something that starts my day, not only because of the food and coffee, but because it helps me to get myself in the mood for the rest of the day...

SEXY IN STYLE

Hello my lovely readers!

I'm back with a strong and confident outfit look for you all ladies out there who love to spice up their day with over sized jackets, fishnet tights or some jewelry pieces.  The clothing details will be linked down below.

What I would love to say is that I adore women who stand out of the crowd with trendy outfits and who are not afraid of being out there with confidence. Female generation seems to have the world in their hands these days and, as a female myself, I'm truly proud of that. Even though, people still find the time to shame women in makeup or fashion choices.. It doesn't feel right in any way so all you should do is let it go for once and enjoy the bright day without spreading negativity in someone else's air.
